Denver and St. Paul, get ready.
The Guantanamo cell tour will visit the Democratic and Republican convention cities later this summer.
After touring just four cities, thousands have visited the life size replica of a prison cell at Guantanamo Bay. Check out the cell tour blog for images and video.
But we need your help to continue touring the cell until Guantanamo is closed.

In 2002, he was arrested at his church solely for his ethnic origin and the
peaceful expression of his political opinions. But as of Saturday, June 7th,
Reverend Bienvenido Samba of Equatorial Guinea was freed under the terms of
a presidential pardon.
Local groups in Allentown, PA; Dallas, TX; Tampa, FL; and Yonkers, NY in
addition to countless other supporters around the world wrote thousands of
letters on Reverend Samba's behalf.
Today, those dedicated advocates should stand a little taller knowing that
their efforts helped to give a man his life back.

"Myself, my son Mohammed and my wife Asma thank all AI members for supporting me and for supporting human rights. We will work hard with them together until we achieve peace for all people in the world. I will never forget their help and I will pray for them. I ask them to keep praying for me also. I will be glad if they continue their relationship with me, are in touch with me in my life and help me with my new job." |
